Dr Morton's Prescription© for cystitis
Cystitis is just a horrible feeling that comes from inflammation in the bladder and urethra
- ease discomfort in a more effective manner with potassium or sodium citrate sachets
- use the urine dipstick test included to find out if you actually have a UTI
- take fosfomycin as an antibiotic if your dip test is positive to kill the bacteria in the urine
You should not take antibiotics for cystitis unless you have a UTI because taking antibiotics when not needed, can exacerbate antibiotic resistance. It can also make it more likely that you will get thrush.
